Cinco de Mayo will fall on May 4 this year at Enchilada’s Restaurant, with the LH restaurant hosting an Enchilada Eating Contest benefiting Lake Highlands High School. The Grand Prize is a trip for two to the Caribbean and bragging rights ‘til 2014.
Applications to compete are open to the public, but slots are limited. You can call Nick at 214-363-8969 or nick@enchiladasrestaurants.com to apply for the contest and pay your $10 entry fee. Enchilada’s is located at 7050 Greenville Avenue.
For the rest of us, the fun will be in watching those crazies eat a stack of enchiladas. Pass me a margarita and pass that guy a napkin. See you there!

She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
