Anna Catherine BrindleyWildcat men’s soccer coach, Hanes Brindley, will be on hand this Sunday, April 28 for the Rise and Shine Run benefiting the Rise School of Dallas. Brindley’s wife, Anna, and their two daughters will also participate, and they’re inviting their friends in Lake Highlands to join the fun.

The event is a fundraiser for 3-year-old Anna Catherine’s school, where she and other children with Down Syndrome and other special needs are nurtured and encouraged. There will be a 5K and 1K Run and Walk at Dallas’ Reverchon Park, followed by a festival with activities for the entire family. The Jolie Holliday Band will kick off the Post-Race Party, and there’ll be a DJ, clown, petting zoo, rock-climbing wall, bungee trampoline, bounce houses, raffle and free food & drinks.
