‘Teen Brain: The Musical’ begins Friday, Feb. 15 at the Dallas Children’s Theater, 5938 Skillman. Explore the humorous, mysterious object called the teenage brain in the Teen Scene Players’ new production. logo.phpRun with your heart in the 5k and one-mile fun runs, ‘Heart and Sole’ on Saturday, Feb. 16. The post-race party includes a bounce house, live music and refreshments. Proceeds benefit Attorneys Serving the Community and Hope’s Door, which helps families affected by domestic violence. Start at Winfrey Point, 950 E. Lawther. Costs $10-$3.

Also, if you have a chance today, go by St. Thomas Aquinas during school hours to see their newly finished cross, which will be auctioned off during the STA Roaring 20s auction on the 23rd. The cross was created out of 2×2 inch glass squares made by the second graders, which were fused together like patchwork within a wooden frame. If you’d like to place a bid on the cross, you can do so next Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Omni in downtown Dallas. Buy your tickets online or contact Tish Yoxall at ox@sbcglobal.net.
