The Whole Foods at 8190 Park Lane hosts a free 28-day healthy eating challenge orientation Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the conference room. Healthy eating guide John Mercer will give you a preview of what to expect in the 28-day challenge, which starts Jan. 14, and show you how to shop healthy. Friday, Jan. 11 highlights breakfast foods while Saturday does lunch and Sunday hosts a dinner duel. There will be plenty of samples and recipes.

The healthy eating opportunities at Whole Foods and throughout the neighborhood abound, so keep an eye out.
