The Dallas United Crew‘s proposal to build a new boathouse at White Rock Lake is on the Dallas Park Board agenda for tomorrow. The board will look at the “development and maintenance agreement which defines the contractual relationship between the City and Dallas United Crew for its rowing facility project at the lake,” according to an email from White Rock Lake Task Force chair Gerry Worrall to the task force. If the Park Board authorizes the agreement, it will go to City Council for approval next month, he notes.
This meeting will not include a design presentation.
The design plan remains the same as when we talked about it a few months ago, says Dallas United Crew president Donna Swanson, who promises to keep us posted on progress.

Also noted, the task force, following recent unrest, has formed a committee to rewrite its bylaws.
