Purses with a Purpose is a catchy name for an event with a serious objective – to provide low income women with free financial education, regardless of their living situation or economic state. The CCCS of Greater Dallas (Consumer Credit Counseling Service) is hosting the fundraiser October 16th at Samuel Lynne Galleries in the Dallas Design District, and proceeds will be used to continue CCCS’ mission to provide free counseling and education classes to consumers in need.

The Purses with a Purpose event with feature live and silent auctions offering jewelry, fashions, giftcards and other prizes. Believing financial literacy should be something women carry with them always, like a purse, the featured auction items, however, will be donated handbags, including new and gently used designer bags.
