The Dallas Children’s Theater holiday season lineup includes two favorite, yet perhaps atypical, performances: Junie B. and a puppet version of the Nutcracker.
Based on the beloved characters in Barbara Park’s book series, ‘Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells’ celebrates a “Merry Mayhem” with sassy Junie B., Herb, José and other first-grade friends.
‘Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells’ runs Nov. 16—Dec. 22 at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts. Tickets range from $14-$40 and can be reserved online.
The DCT’s take on Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’ will tell the well-known story through puppetry in an intimate studio theater setting. The Kathy Burks Theatre of Puppetry Arts is helping stage what the DCT guarantees will be a sell-out performance.
‘The Nutcracker’ runs Nov. 16—Dec. 23 at the Rosewood Center, and tickets also range from $14-$40.
