Authorities issued a warrant for the arrest of Abey Belette Girma for the murders of two local restaurant owners.
Police are searching for 37-year-old Abey Belette Girma who they believe may have shot and killed the owners of Lake Highlands area restaurant Desta on the front porch of their East Dallas home.
A judge reportedly issued a warrant for Girma’s arrest after Girma allegedly confessed to a coworker that he killed Yayehyirad “Yared” Lemma and Yenenesh “Yenni” Desta because they “disrespected” him, and he also allegedly showed that coworker the gun he used.
Girma reportedly told the witness that he followed the couple home from their restaurant early Wednesday morning.
