I am getting tired of writing about stuff like this, but here goes. This morning, Tuesday, at about 7:40, a homeless man emerged from behind a dumpster at the Forest Lane Jack in the Box, near Skillman, and shot a passerby in the knee, according to a report from Matt Peterson on Dallas News’ crime blog.

The shooting was reportedly unprovoked. The suspect was a 40-50 year old black male wearing jeans, a red ball cap and dirty white shoes.

This comes on the heels of the following:

Monday night a man accidentally shot himself and two others at Forest Lane Wal Mart.

Sometime before Monday, someone shot up a neighborhood security sign on Forest near Audelia.

Early last week a shooting and an attempted shooting occurred on Forest between Audelia and Abrams.

The previous week a man shot another man who was harassing people at EZ Trip on Forest at Audelia.

That’s not to mention the other guy who accidentally shot himself in the leg a few weeks ago—not a Forest Lane dweller, but from  just north. Or the dead body found last week at Moss Park, just south of all this.
