The wildlife at White Rock Lake is always a topic of fascination here. We’ve got pigs and peacocks and, of course, coyotes.
Over on the WFAA viewer-submitted photo blog, someone has uploaded three great shots of a rather large coyote at the Celebration Tree Grove, which is right along the trail on the east side of White Rock Lake.
“It was chewing on the name plates and watering hoses,” notes the photographer.
Meanwhile, on the (public) Lake Ridge Estates neighborhood Facebook page, there is a notice about a family pet found dead on its lawn, the apparent victim of a coyote attack.
