A new Italian place called Verona’s is coming soon to the White Rock Lake area. Like it’s future neighbors Hypnotic Donuts and Barbec’s, it’s not in Lake Highlands, but since many of us frequent the lake area, I figure it’s worth mentioning.
Owner Zeqir Lokaj already has opened Verona’s in Plano and Alba.
On the menu: apps include calamari, fried mushrooms, and bruschetta on fresh-baked bread; there is pizza, hot and cold subs, soups, salads and, of course, pasta. The prices look reasonable. We will attempt to reach the owners this week, and keep you posted on the opening.
