Now through Thanksgiving, you can drop off gently used blankets at any Sleep Experts store for the company’s eighth annual Share the Warmth blanket drive. And this year, local Girl Scout troops are getting involved, collecting blankets in their communities.
The blankets will be delivered to Family Gateway, a local nonprofit that provides support to homeless people and helps them become self-sufficient. Since 1986, the organization has served 4,537 families and over 9,000 children.
There’s a Sleep Experts at Royal and Central Expressway. The store also accepts sheets, pillows and other comfort items.
