These days, it seems everyone old enough to point and click has a digital camera in their purse or built into their phone. Strange, then, to hear that photography students at Lake High are having a tough time finding 35mm film cameras to learn the basics of photography.

Wildcat senior Carly Kaplan, who serves as Co-President of the LHHS Photography Club and excels in her Advanced Placement Photography class, is asking neighborhood parents who’ve moved onto digital equipment if they’d mind donating their 35mm film cameras. You can drop cameras off in the school’s front office, or email Carly here to arrange for a pickup.

“If you would take the time to go find your old camera, it would make a world of difference to an LHHS student,” says Carly.
