The Highlandettes will kick off their yearlong 50th anniversary celebration with a pre-game reunion and barbecue for alumni, current families and friends Friday, October 7 from 5:30-7:30pm. They’ll gather around a barbecue dinner catered by Back Country BBQ at the LH Rec Center pavilion across the street from the football field, then walk over to the game to see the 50th line perform for the crowd.

Dinner is $10 per person, and (while you’re at it) they’re seeking donations to be used for anniversary events, a commemorative tile for the LHHS auditorium foyer and the Highlandette scholarship fund. For more info or to reserve your dinner, email former Dette Mom Susan Bradley here.
