District 9 representative and District 10 representative (Sheffie Kadane, Jerry Allen) plan to attend a pet adoption event at Green Spot.
The two Dallas City councilmen will host the Dallas Loves Animals extravaganza at Green Spot, 702 Buckner Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Since Advocate ran our Best Pets story this month, we’ve talked a couple times about how important dogs can be to us humans — this little pet party offers an opportunity to adopt a dog, or to help the one you already have with free and/or low cost vaccinations, plus $15 micro chips so you can keep track of the little buggers.
Also, adopting pet parents get free animal trading cards, a Petropolitan grooming certificate and a T-shirt.
