Ready to clear out some space in your home and make a little extra cash? Lake Highlands sisters Becki Jackson and Jody Hall think you’re not alone, and they figure the stuff taking up space in your garage is just what your neighbor’s been searching for. Jody and Becki founded the Lake Highlands Buy~Sell~Trading Post Facebook page as a modern electronic version of the old-fashioned swap meet.

Looking to purchase an antique Louis XVI French vasselier made of European oak? How about a 1994 Saturn 4-door with 80,000 miles and new tires driven only to church and the grocery store? A powder room sink made of green glass? Required reading novels for LHHS English classes?

Or maybe you have something to sell – one buyer is seeking a 50s or 60s style buffet. Another wants to give away her working HP printer to “a good home” now that she’s upgraded to a new one.

Visiting the Trading Post is easy – just “like” the Facebook page here to get easy updates to your computer or phone each time someone posts a new offering with photo. You may never sweat through a dusty garage sale again. For more info, you can email Becki here or Jody here.
