We’ve penned many of the high points of this morning’s meeting at City Hall regarding the Lake Highlands Town Center. All of the regular podcasters were in attendance, and after sitting through a two-hour meeting, we had more to discuss than what could possibly fit in a blog post.

So that’s the topic of this week’s Lake Highlands podcast — even more on Tom Thumb and Sprouts, which were never confirmed as the grocers looking to open at the Town Center, even though they are being widely speculated as doing so in real estate circles. We discuss whether the Skillman-Royal Tom Thumb might close regardless of what happens at the Town Center, the ghosts of Tom Thumbs past at Forest-Abrams, and why we can be thankful that Prescott didn’t get this project off the ground before the economic downturn.
