Looking for some cheap family fun? The Lake Highlands Elementary PTA is hosting Outdoor Family Movie Night tonight, featuring one of my favorites, Finding Nemo.
Beginning at 7 pm, you can munch on pizza-by-the-slice and down your favorite drink, all for $1 each. Additional concessions, including cookies and brownies, will be sold.
At 8:15, they’ll have a movie-themed costume contest (I wonder if I can come as Ellen DeGeneres, voice of Nemo?). Just seeing the kids dressed up as their favorite sea creature will be worth the price of admission, which – by the way – is free. The big show premieres at 8:30 pm on the LHE playground. If you need more info, you can email Toni Stroud here.
