In our May issue, we profiled Computers for the Blind, a neighborhood nonprofit group of about 15 men who work tirelessly each week, re-purposing donated computers for the visually impaired.

You’ve probably seen flyers at the local Starbucks, calling for folks to bring in their old computers (you know, the one that’s sitting in your home office collecting dust ever since you bought that new MacBook). These guys are the real deal. In fact, they’ve rebuilt more than 4,000 computers to date, shipping them all across the country.
