The RISD Council of PTAs will sponsor a one-day event 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 2 at the RISD Clothes Closet where high school girls in need can find a prom dress at no cost.
The Closet needs donations for the event, and you can help by dropping off your gently worn formal dresses between 9 a.m. and noon on any Monday. The dresses will be kept in a climate control storage space until the sale.
RISD counselors will recommend the girls in need who would benefit from the event.
