If you need to update your book collection or just help out a worthy cause, you can stop by the RISD Used Book Fair, which opens at 10 a.m. today in the Dal Rich Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Coit and Belt Line. Thousands of titles in several genres will be available priced as low as 25 cents.
It’s the 29th year that the RISD Council of PTAs has organized the sale. Proceeds benefit local PTAs and the JJ Pearce Memorial Scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to select graduating seniors at all four RISD high schools.
The sale runs until 8 p.m. Thursday and again 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
