Lake Highlands High moved into a two-way tie with Jesuit for second place in District 9-5A at 3-3 with a 65-64 win at home against Skyline High Tuesday.
A 24-point performance from Taylor Stell, with Trey Bingham adding 16 and Michael Ketchmark putting in 12 helped the Wildcats come back from a 37-18 halftime deficit.
The Wildcats stormed back on their home court scoring 47 points in the second half and limiting the Red Raiders to only 27 points.
Lake Highlands will play the second game of a three-game home-stand Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against Richardson, who is one game back in district play.
