Lake Highlands High will spread it out tonight in the sports arena as five sports teams will compete in different areas tonight.

The men’s wrestling team, which has a couple handfuls of first place finishes, and recently finished first at the TCA tournament, will head to Jesuit for a dual tournament starting at 6 p.m.. Keep an eye out on these guys, because you are going to see them blazing a path to Austin for the State Finals.

The boys basketball team looks to snap a two-game losing streak, with the last coming on the road at Jesuit 63-58. The Wildcats will square off with Skyline at 7:30 p.m. tonight. At the moment there are four teams tied for the final three spots in District 9-5A play. Every win matters right now.

In girls basketball, the Lady Wildcats are also hoping to snap a two-game losing streak, with the last coming to Berkner, 45-41, on the road. The Lady Wildcats head to Skyline tonight at 7:30 p.m., where the Lady Red Raiders are undefeated in District 9-5A play. The last time these two teams played Skyline buzzed by LHHS 63-38. The Lady Wildcats are fighting for the final playoff spot, so the outcome might be different tonight.

Out on the pitch, the LHHS boys soccer team continues to heat up having won two games and tied two so far. The Wildcats will play at 7 p.m. at Frisco Wakeland. This Lake Highlands team is sure to play exciting games night-in and night-out.

Also, the girls soccer team heads to Carrollton Creekview tonight at 7 p.m.. The Lady Wildcats had a busy schedule over the weekend, posting three wins in the Nolan Showcase.
