In the January cover story, “Things We Love” I mentioned the peacocks. I’ve seen them as I drive along Goforth or trudge up the hill on Lanshire near the horse stables. But it wasn’t until last week that I discovered the peacock gathering place that is a greenbelt on Eagle Trail. When I turned from Goforth onto Eagle, I couldn’t miss them—there were a dozen of them and they weren’t shy. I got out of my car and snapped a few pics. They practically posed for me!
