Bridget O’Brien and Jessi Youman combined for 26 points Saturday at LHHS and helped the Lady Wildcats nearly shut out Denison in the process.
Denison did not score in the first quarter and scored only two points in the third, losing 42-9 on the road.
The Lady Wildcats defense has held its opponents to 38 and 36 points at times this season, but never single digits.
Impressive win for LHHS who starts District 9-5A play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against Skyline.
