While the boys team was finishing off a one-point win against Mesquite High, the Lake Highlands girls basketball team came up just short in a 56-54 loss to Wylie at home Tuesday.
Three Lady Wildcats scored in double-digits as Bridget O’Brien led the team with 15 points. Mary Potter and Tierra Scott each scored 14 points for LHHS.
The Lady Wildcats match-up with Denison at 1:30 Saturday at home and begin District 9-5A play against Skyline on Nov. 30.
