If you want to travel a little bit, you could go out to Wylie at 6 p.m. and check out the Lake Highlands wrestling team. Last year the Wildcats had one undefeated State Champion in Isaac Grieder who finished 59-0 with 192 career wins. And two other state placers in Isaac Kinsella and Ebrima Njie who both took fourth in state. But they graduated and a new crew hopes to continue building on the LHHS legacy.
The Lake Highlands girls basketball team is squaring off with Princeton High tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Lake Highlands if you want to stay near your home. Last year the Lady Wildcats finished third in district play and were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by Naaman Forest.
