The LHHS volleyball team defeated Belton Highin the Region II Area Playoffs Friday to move on to the Regional Quarterfinals.
The Lady Wildcats beat Belton in four games, 25-22, 23-25, 28-26, 25-14, respectively.
Matalee Reed stepped up with 19 kills and four aces. Megan Garcia served up a good portion of Reed’s points with 23 assists on the night.
Ann Jaggers defended the court well with 17 digs and Katie Bott added four aces as well.
The Lady Wildcats will face the winner of the Sachse vs. North Mesquite Area Round match either Nov. 8 or Nov. 9 in the Regional Quarterfinals.
