Lake Highlands had three interceptions in the first half, two scoring opportunities and every reason to feel confident trailing Skyline 14-0 at halftime.

But in the second half, Peter Jenkins busted loose for 139 yards on consecutive drives to give the Skyline a huge boost and eventually a 39-14 win.

The win guarantees Skyline at least a share of the District 9-5A Championship.

As for the Wildcats, it was their first loss in District 9-5A and they played most of the game without star running back Desmond Roland.
