The Lake Highlands Wildcat Wranglers will host their second annual concert with LHHS graduate and former Wrangler Granger Smith this Sunday. “Granger Smith – Home Again in 2010” will feature the country music star in an intimate performance for his most loyal hometown fans.

Smith, who graduated from LHHS in 1998, boasts four top ten radio singles, performances for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait and three gigs at the White House, where he met President Bush. The concert is part of a fundraising effort by the Wranglers, who have been invited to dance in the London New Year’s Day Parade.

The concert will be held this Sunday, October 17, at 6 pm in the LHHS senior parking lot. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and are invited to bring a picnic basket to relax and enjoy the show.

Also performing at the show will be the Wildcat cheerleaders, the Highlandette drill team and Sidereal, a garage band featuring LHHS students. The Wranglers will dance to several songs as Granger and his band performs live.

Tickets are available at the gate, at the Wildcat varsity football game Friday night, in the LHHS foyer Friday morning 8am-1pm or online here.
