The Richardson League of Women Voters will host a Candidate Forum this Wednesday, October 13, for the Texas House District 102 race, which includes Lake Highlands. Current State Representative and Democrat Carol Kent and challenger Stefani Carter, a Republican, will answer questions submitted in writing by the audience.

Moderating the forum, which is open to the public, will be Janet Imhoff, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas League of Women Voters. Also sponsoring the event will be the Richardson ISD Council of PTAs, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas League of Women Voters.

You can submit your own questions to the Richardson LWV by emailing them here before the forum, and you can view their Voters Guide here. The forum will begin at 7 pm at the LH Freshman Center, 10200 White Rock Trail. Election Day is Tuesday, November 2 and early voting will be permitted October 18-29.
