No. 74 Wade Smith, 6-foot-4 296 from The University of Memphis, graduated from Lake Highlands and is in his eighth year starting at left guard on the Texans offensive line, opening holes for Arian Foster and giving Matt Schaub some time in the pocket.
No. 97 Frank Okam, 6-foot-5 340 from The University of Texas, graduated from Lake Highlands and is in his third year as the backup defensive tackle behind Shaun Cody.
Lake Highlands has four former students who now play in the NFL, only four other schools in the country have more than four. Fourteen schools share the total with Lake Highlands.
