For this week’s podcast, we traveled to Lake Highlands High School, home of the Wildcats, to chat with new principal Peggy Dillon (she is pictured between Ellen Raff and Carol Toler). As Raff mentioned in her column this month, Dillon is the first female principal at LHHS, but as she told us during the podcast, that’s not fazing her one bit.

Dillon also explained to us the phenomenon of slateboards (which more and more LHHS teachers are using in their classrooms), talked about reaching out to high school dropouts, and divulged her varied music interests (both Alicia Keys and Clint Black can be found in her iPod playlists).
