All weekend: This is the last of the Festival of Independent Theaters at the Bath House Cultural Center.
This marks the first weekend for NorthPark/ Dallas CASA yearly Parade of Playhouses, which showcases fantastic miniature dream homes while raising funds for and public awareness of abused and neglected children.
Friday: at 3 p.m. at the Audelia Library, teen author Joseph Hughes (no relation to me) will talk about his fantasy book Armorica.
Saturday: Dallas Running Club will host a cross-country relay at Norbuck Park Saturday at 8 a.m. Bring a team of two or three, or show up a little early and they’ll find a team for you! $10 or free if you’re a DRC member. Details and registration here.
Sunday: 3-6 p.m. is Nibbles for Kibbles at Cafe Lago benefiting the East Lake Pet Orphanage A $20 donation per person, attendees can enjoy light snacks and a cash bar to raise money for the famous goat-dog duo Judy and Minilli.
