Michael Lance Childers died last week in the pool at his Lake Highlands home.
The man who drowned in a swimming pool in the 8000 block of Moss Meadows last week was Michael Lance Childers, the 26-year old son of Lance Childers, who also lives at the aforementioned address. According to his obituary in the Enid, OK newspaper, Michael was born in Oklahoma. He was an actor and a “star gazer” who was more than willing to drop everything to help others. The funeral was held last weekend; in lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cornerstone Group, 6760 Abrams Rd., Ste. 215, Dallas, TX 75231.
