Friday, June 11-Sunday June 13: Lake Highlands student Emily Hawkins will perform at the Mesquite Arts Center’s Grand Night for Singing.
Saturday, June 12: Lake Highlands ladies Merry and the Mood Swings will perform at the Cottage Lounge, 3006 West Northwest near Bachman Lake, from 8:30-midnight — “No cover, ice-cold beers for only $2.75, and a full night of Mood Swings – rock, blues, pop, and the inexplicable.”
Sunday, June 13: The Flag Retirement Ceremony at Flagpole Hill, including musical entertainment, begins at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
