With only three girls competing, the Lake Highlands gymnastics team needed every performer to come through at the state meet in Alvin. All three gymnasts – Sarie Morrison, Hannah Van Meter and Kristen DeCosta – did just that in winning the state team title Saturday.
LSU-bound Morrison, pictured with coach Addi Ledford, also won the state all-around title for the third year in a row.
