Lake Highlands’ own Isaac Grieder, son of LH coach Pete Grieder, just won the UIL state title in the 160-pound weight class at the Delco Center in Austin.
Grieder (pictured winning at the regional meet) broke out to a 5-1 lead over Marc Backus from Canyon Randall and held on for a 6-4 victory.
