The Wildcats face a stiff test in Garland Lakeview Centennial, their opponent in the first round of the boys basketball playoff. The game is 7:30 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) at Plano East Senior High.
Lakeview is ranked No. 1 in the area and No. 3 in the state. Although the Patriots went undefeated in District 10-5A, the Wildcats are not intimidated.
That’s because on Dec. 11, LH played at Lakeview and lost in a close game, 65-63. That result gives LH confidence going into the bi-district game.
"We feel good about this game," senior guard Ricky Zorn said. "The last time that we played them, it was really close and we were on the road, playing front of their student body. I like our chances this time around."
