Thanks to Blizzard ’10, the Creekview-LH boys basketball previously scheduled for Friday night at LHHS has been moved to 2 p.m. Saturday. That is, if the power comes back on.
Like much of Lake Highlands (including my own home which was without power for 12 hours), at last report LHHS was included in the blackouts in the neighborhood.
LH coach Rob Wylie said that while they have played without working scoreboards before, he doubts there would be enough light in the gym to stage a game. Fingers are crossed that the power will come back on, otherwise we’re probably looking at a Monday game.
