With tournaments finished and preseason play beginning, the Wildcats begin a pattern tonight against the Allen Eagles which will last through March: the boys play at home on Tuesdays & away on Fridays, and the girls do the reverse. JV games begin at 5:45 pm and the varsity kicks off at 7.

Allen beat the Lady Wildcats 2-1 last week in the first game of the Jesuit Meinster tournament, so that should be an exciting rematch. Allen has several returners from last year’s strong team, which soundly beat last year’s Bi-district champion Cats. The girls are determined to force a different outcome this time.

Allen’s boys’ team was ranked 16th nationally before being defeated by Richardson High at the Jesuit Meinster tournament. They have a rich soccer history and multiple club players – they’re likely to be a tough opponent tonight at The Boneyard. Go Cats!
