The accompanying photograph, sent to us by wrestling correspondent Ann Villasana, was taken when Santa Claus stopped by the Wildcat Wrestling Club recently to spread some holiday cheer. The Wildcat Wrestling Club is the area youth wrestling program that grooms many of the future standouts on the high school wrestling team.
The young wrestlers took a break from workouts to pose with St. Nick, and likewise the LH Sports Blog will take a break for the holiday weekend. The blog will be hopping again Monday when both the boys and girls basketball teams dive into tournament action.
