The Wildcats beat the Sunset Bison, 100-53, at the Ellis Davis Fieldhouse on Monday night.

Playing in front of an unusually small crowd, LH started the game off slowly and trailed 16-12 at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, the Wildcats built up a seven-point lead and never looked back from there.

Lake Highlands scorers were led by Trey Bingham with 29 points and James Preston with 18.

This win moves the Wildcats to 1-1 in district play after last Friday’s loss to Skyline.

The LH varsity will play in the Plano Holiday Tournament starting next Monday and the JV will play in the Bowie Tournament starting that same day.

The next district game will be on Tuesday, January 5, at home against Berkner.
