Finishing with a flourish, the Lake Highlands boys basketball team won its final two games in the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio.

After falling to San Antonio Marshall, 48-44, on Friday morning, the Wildcats defeated Austin LBJ, 82-67, on Friday afternoon.

Saturday, the Cats beat Fort Bend Willowridge, 57-49, before heading back to Dallas. Lake Highlands is now 6-5 on the season.

"Ricky [Zorn] is starting to get back into basketball shape, and both seniors Aaron Mazibuko and Tevin Elmore played really well in our two wins," assistant coach Joe Duffield said. "Trey Bingham started shooting the ball a lot better in those two games as well."
