Don’t forget to drop by the Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA Shopping Soiree tomorrow. I’m planning on being at St. James Episcopal for the festivites between 4-5 p.m., one of the two time slots for early bird specials, with most of the 40-plus vendors offering discounts and giveaways. (The other chance for early bird specials is from 9-10 a.m.)
You can snack while you shop (complimentary White Rock Coffee and breakfast goodies in the morning, and wine and hors d’ouevres in the evening), plus enter into the raffles and drawings happening every 30 minutes. The LHAECPTA will also be taking the advantage of the opportunity to collect supplies for the troops, with this year’s community service effort to support the Lake Highlands Military Moms.
