Football, volleyball, basketball…and now, wrestling.
It’s a convergence of seasons at LH – thanks to the success of so many programs, including cross country which just ended an extended season. Some schools have already put up the equipment for all of their fall sports.
Although football and volleyball are still in the playoffs, wrestling waits for no one. The Wildcat grapplers open their season tonight at 6 p.m. at LHHS with a dual meet against Wylie.
The first tournament of the season is Saturday at the Keller 6-way duals.
Among the highlights in the first half of the season:
– The Lake Highlands Tri-State Classic is Dec. 4-5
– The Wildcats will dual Highland Park at 6 p.m. on Dec. 11 at LH
– The LHHS Quad, against the other RISD schools, closes the 2009 portion of the season at 6 p.m. on Dec. 18.
