Friday is also the day the LH netters head to Tyler for the Region II-5A team tennis tournament. Last year LH, as a No. 8 seed, won its first round match but lost in the second round to The Woodlands.

"Our goal this year is to make it to the second day [third round], which would be top four in the region and top 16 in the state," coach Bob Williams said.

You can cheer on the tennis team tonight at Picasso’s where they will be our special guests during the taping of the Wildcat Sports Report. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m.
