Wow, last week’s Homecoming edition of the Wildcat Sports Report was a blast. We had a terrific crowd, a lot of energy and of course food, fun and football.
Guess what? We’re doing it again. Stop by Picasso’s Pizza and Grill (Skillman at Walnut Hill) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to hear LH coach Scott Smith discuss last week’s big win over W.T. White and this week’s game at Creekview. We will talk about some of players who have emerged lately for LH and maybe get into a little playoff talk.
We will also have Jason Dann, LH’s superb kicker, as our player guest. Last week Dann booted a 44-yard field goal. He’s headed to Nebraska where he hopes to help the Huskers beat Iowa State some day.
We will also talk with members of the district champion Lake Highlands tennis team, who will enter regional action this weekend. I’m sure the always shy Wil Matthews will figure out a way to get on camera.
