A prowler/peeping Tom was reported in the L Streets neighborhood Oct. 2, according to a neighborhood newsletter. The man is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, between 25-35 years old. There have been a number of sightings of this person or someone with a similar MO, Including at a home near the corner of Leaside and Longmeadow. From the description, it doesn’t appear this is related to the flashing incidents in Lake HIghlands a few weeks ago.
Police say they will increase presence in this area at night. The best defense, police warn, is to make your neighbors aware of what’s going on and to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
