Against a broad and talented field, the Lake Highlands boys’ cross country team finished 14th out of 51 squads at the 25th annual Greenhill School/ Luke’s Locker 6-mile Relays on Saturday at Norbuck Park.

The girls’ team was 23rd out of 48 entries.

The Greenhill Relays are the traditional start to high school cross country season in the area. They are unlike any other meet the teams will compete in this season. The teams are comprised of four runners, each running 1.5 miles of the six-mile relay course. It’s a fun event that, while not being a regular competition, gives teams a good barometer heading into the heart of the season.
